Setting up your email on an Android device

These steps work for most of our customers, but sometimes you might need to make some additional changes depending on where you live and which ISP(s) you use.

Your Android device might be a little different depending on your make/model and your network provider. However, all the information you need to set up your account (username, password, server settings) is in these steps.

Please Note: We provide online tutorials to help you configure your email software as a courtesy. However, our support staff are unable to provide any support on how to use or configure third-party software on your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. We will provide support for any issues relating to the software and services on our servers, but you will need to contact the software manufacturer or visit their relevant online support pages for help with the software that they provide.

1.2  Type your Email address and Password, and click Next.

1.3  You should set up your account as a POP3 account.

2.  Use these settings for your incoming server:

2.1  Username:  Enter your full email address.

2.2  Password:  Enter your email account password.

2.3  POP3 server:  Enter the mail server that is provided in your setup email.

2.4  Port:  995

3.  Use these settings for your outgoing server:

3.2  Port:  587

3.3  Security type:  SSL or TLS

3.4  Select "Require sign-in" and enter your full email address and password.

3.5  Tap Next.

3.6  Tap Next again. Name your account and enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages.

3.7  Tap Done.

That's it. If everything is working OK, you should see some email messages. To make sure you can send messages, go ahead and compose an email and send it to yourself.
