30 Day Money-Back Guarantee
If our service does not meet your needs, you're able to cancel within the first 30 Days of signing up, and receive a refund. Our 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee is available on new orders only, and does not apply to renewals. When a refund is issued within the 30-day money back guarantee, we will refund the full amount charged to your credit card (excluding any domain fees) less any administration fees to cover our merchant and administration costs. Any refunds or credits are given at the discretion of Domain Hosting Shop.
7 Day Cooling-Off Period
Some hosting services have a 7 Day Cooling-Off Period when they are automatically renewed, which means you can cancel the purchase during that period and receive a refund. In some circumstances, this may be minus an administration fee. Renewals of existing domain name licences are not subject to a cooling-off period. The cooling off period, if any, will be described in the terms and conditions for the service. See our Terms of service for current terms and conditions. Pro-rata refunds are not available, except if expressly described in the terms and conditions for the service. Any service that has been discounted due to a loyalty discount (i.e. biennial or yearly hosting plans) is non-refundable, however, we can add a credit for the amount to the account if it is requested during the 7 day cooling-off period. in some circumstances, we also may be able to offer a partial credit. Any refunds or credits are given at the discretion of Domain Hosting Shop.
Reseller Discount Plans
If a service is discounted under our Reseller Discount Scheme, we can add a full credit for the amount to the account if it is requested during the 7 day cooling-off period. Refunds are not available on any discounted services ordered under our reseller discount scheme . Any refunds or credits are given at the discretion of Domain Hosting Shop.
Domain name Registration & Renewals
Refunds are not available for domain name registrations or renewals. The domain name registration process does not support cancellation once the domain name has been registered or renewed. A domain is registered on your behalf for the period you have requested registration, regardless of whether you need the domain or not.
Double Payment of Invoices
If we receive a double payment of an invoice, we'll happily refund to your Australian bank account within 7 days of the payment. We'll usually try to contact you about this, and ask for your bank account details. If we don't receive the details after 7 days, the amount is added as a credit to your account. Account credit can only be used to pay for services from Domain Hosting Shop. Account Credits are non-refundable.
Credit on Client Accounts
If your account is in credit, that credit can only be used to pay for services from Domain Hosting Shop. Account Credits are non-refundable.
How to Request a Refund
Cancellation of a service requires written authorisation, which can be done by simply emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org from an email address associated with your account. You can also log in to your client account to cancel a service.
