Using IMAP to access your mail

Some people prefer using IMAP, as emails are synched across devices.  You are able to use IMAP to access your mail rather then POP, but you must bear in mind if using IMAP that mail is stored on the server, so you will need to ensure that you regularly clean out old emails so that your mailbox doesn't fill up.  If your mailbox does fill up and you need us to clean it up for you, charges may apply.

The settings are the same as for POP3, except that you will need to set up the account as an IMAP account on your device/computer, and use port 143 for your incoming server port (or 993 if you have enabled SSL) and 587 for your outgoing server port.  Please refer to your setup email for other settings.
