Setting up your Samsung Galaxy to download your email

Setting up your Samsung Galaxy to download your email   STEP 1 : Main Screen

On the Main screen, tap "Email".

Enter your account information using your keypad.

Your login username is your full email address

Your account password is the password that you've created for this mailbox.  Note this should NOT be the same as your cPanel password.

Tap "Manual setup".

Tap "POP3 account".

Enter your incoming server information using your keypad.

Username: Your full email address

Password: The password that you've created for this mailbox.  Note this should NOT be the same as your cPanel password.

POP3 Server: "mail.yourdomain.com". (yourdomain.com here refers to the domain you have registered).  If you have any doubt here about what to enter, please refer to your welcome email.

Security type : Select "None."

Port : Enter "110."

Delete email from server : Set to "7 Days"

Tap "Next".

Enter your outgoing server information using your keypad.

SMTP server : "mail.yourdomain.com". (yourdomain.com here refers to the domain you have registered).  If you have any doubt here about what to enter, please refer to your welcome email.

Security Type: None

Port:  587  (If you have issues sending using port 587 try 2525).

Tick the "Require sign-in" box

Username: Your full email address

Password: The password that you've created for this mailbox.  Note this should NOT be the same as your cPanel password.


Tap "Next".

Set "Email check frequency" to "Every 15 minutes.

Select the other options according to your preference.

Tap "Next".

Enter the final information to your account using your keypad.

Give this account a name (Optional): Enter your email address. (This is the easiest way to differentiate between accounts if you have more than 1)

Your name: Your name as you want it to display on email messages.

Tap "Done".
     
Setting up your Samsung Galaxy to download your email   The setup is now completed. You will now be brought to your account's "Inbox" and you will see your emails start to appear (if you do have emails).
